Talibans in Kerala!!

The God’s Own Country has been taken over by Talibans at last. These Talibans are not Afghans but our own Muslim fanatics who attacked and chopped off the hand of the Professor T.J. Joseph.A professor of Malayalam, in Newman college, Thodupuzha. This barbaric act was done by members of Popular Front India(PFI), a Jihadi political party in India, with which Sonia led Congress has tie-up.

PFI Flag;Image Courtesy - Wikipedia

Professor T.J.Joseph did nothing wrong to incite a violence of this kind. All he did was setting up a question paper for university exam to punctuate a passage from a story with Mohammed as one the character.Soon after seeing the name,Mohammed, in question paper, the Student Front, the student jihadi wing of PFI, cirulated the copies of the question paper to sensitive Muslim areas.

As a result of this, the professor was suspended from the college and the university. He and his son were arrested and beaten-up by the police. The leaders of this terrorist political party, were the masterminds in Coimbatore bomb blast, that rocked Tamil Nadu in 1997.Professor T.J.Joesph did nothing wrong for him to be suspended in the first place. When this is the case,he has been brutally attacked in Taliban style and his hands were chopped off.

Police have recovered guns and ammunition from the offices of PFI.Intelligence Bureau report suggests that this organisation has links with Al-Qaeda, LeT, Taliban etc…The same PFI is also responsible for Love Jihad in India.

The Congress as usual remained silent. Not only they remained silent, they, in fact, are supporting  PFI.There was no nationwide debate on this Talibanization of Kerala on any news channel.Kerala has already become a sleeper cell for these Jihadi elements which do destructive work and kills innocent Indians with the help of Congress government.

While BJP setup a four member panel to look into this matter and also demanded for NIA’s (National Investigation Agency) probe into this matter, other political parties have condemned this brutal act of terror on this innocent professor. But Congress has not uttered a single word against PFI.Even though PFI is well known for its terrorist activities,Congress does not hesitate to join hands with them for the sake of votes.

Congress will stoop to any level to get into power. If Hafiz Sayeed were to be an Indian, they would also form coalition with him. They would simply forget 26/11 of Mumbai.Power & Money hungry congress babas will work hand in glove with Jihadis  to further weaken the Indian democracy and it’s 6 billion Hindu people.

ISI keeping Osama’s whereabouts a secret: Expert

The Pakistani intelligence agency ISI knows the whereabouts of Osama bin Laden but is keeping his location a secret and wants to use the Al Qaeda chief as leverage over the US as it is wary of America’s closer ties with India, noted military historian Stephen Tanner has said.

“We got to make a deal with Pakistan because I’m convinced that he (bin Laden) is protected by the ISI,” said Tanner, the author of ‘Afghanistan: A Military History from Alexander the Great to the War against the Taliban.’

Tanner says the ISI knows where bin Laden is hiding, but is not ready to say.The American writer along with other experts were interviewed by CNN for a blog post on the channel’s website called ‘Whatever happened to bin Laden’.

Noting that it was unlikely for bin Laden to be captured anytime soon, Tanner suggested that the ISI wants to keep him as leverage over the US because it is wary of Washington’s closer ties with New Delhi. Without the fear of a bin Laden loose in Pakistan, the intelligence agency fears that the US would lose interest in the country.

“I just think it’s impossible after all this time to not know where he is. The ISI knows what’s going on in its own country,” Tanner said. “We’re talking about a 6-foot-4-inch Arab with a coterie of bodyguards.”

Another expert, Thomas Mockatis, who is the author of ‘Osama bin Laden: A Biography’ was also quoted on the CNN blog suggesting that killing bin Laden would probably not be the best idea. “Killing bin Laden would not be a good thing,” Mockatis says. “He’s already a hero. Killing bin Laden would just create one more martyr.”

Mockatis recommends that dismantling the terror infrastructure is more important than catching bin Laden. There have been alleged sightings of bin Laden in Pakistan, and he is believed to be in North Waziristan, constantly slipping back and forth from the Af-Pak border.

An associate professor of international security studies at Tufts University’s Fletcher School in Massachusetts, William Martel, even suggests that it would be better if bin Laden would not be captured as the debate on how the Al Qaeda chief should be treated after his capture would create a firestorm.

“Do we read him his rights; do we run him through a military tribunal or civilian courts?” Martel says. “Capturing him would pose more problems than not.”

A cultural Taliban in secular India

Union Railways minister E Ahmed has banned the customs that have been followed by millions of people in India for past several thousand years.Yet there is no one from congress or media has come down on his decision.V Sundaram, a retired IAS officer has written on this issue.

Excerpts from V Sundram’s article.

I proudly assert my inalienable, indivisible, immutable, and inexorable constitutional right to be a practicing Hindu. Yet, seeing the conduct of E Ahmed, Union Minister of State for Railways, at a recent public function organised by the Indo-Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Chennai, I am constrained to raise these questions. Are we living in Islamic Pakistan? Are we living in Islamic Bangladesh? Or are we living in Taliban-controlled Afghanistan? Let me move from this macrocosm to the microcosm. Are we living in the Muslim-majority Malappuram District in Kerala, rightly described by some journalists as a mini-Pakistan in India?

Union Railway Minister E Ahmed

I am raising these issues because the Union Minister of State for Railways, Ahmed who recently participated at a public seminar on ‘Status of Infrastructure’, organized by the Indo- Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Chennai refused to light the Kuthuvilakku as a traditional and well-established part of the inaugural ceremony. The Union Minister caught the other dignitaries and the organisers of the function off guard when he declined to accept the candle offered to him to light the kuthuvilakku on the podium. It is reliably understood that one of the organisers told the press that the Minister refused to light the lamp because it is an un-Islamic action. It is understood that the Minister told some of the helpless and totally clueless organizers; ‘The Muslim community does not light lamps. It is against Shariah, the code which governs Islam’.

I understand that some time back, P K Kunha-likutty, a Muslim League leader who was Kerala’s Industries Minister, courted controversy when he refused to light the lamp while inaugurating a state function at Thiruvanan-thapuram. The famous playback singer K J Yesudas who was also one of the guests at the same function, walked out protesting against it.

The Cheraman Mosque, Kodungallur in Kerala has an ancient oil lamp which always burns and whichis believed to be more than a thousand years old. Every day people of all religions bring oil for the lamp as offering. This is one of the few mosques in Kerala which allow entry for people of other religions. In recent years, the mosque has observed vidyarambham, a Hindu initiation ritual marking the beginning of a child’s learning. I am mentioning this so that Union Minister E Ahmed can use his authority for getting a fatwa issued against the managers of this ancient Mosque for violating the tenets of Islam!!

The anti-Hindu ways of Ahmed were very well known in Kerala even before he became the Union Minister of State for Railways. After becoming the Union Minister of State for Railways, he is functioning like a Mughal chieftain. Many organisations like the Vishwa Hindu Parishad have already publicly condemned this Hindu-hating Minister for having issued instructions to Railways officers not to do Ganesha Puja, breaking of coconut, etc before starting of new trains, inauguration of tracks, bridges, etc. He has banned lighting of traditional oil lamps during inaugurations. Likewise, garlanding of trains, anointing them with sandal paste, sindoor, etc. have also been banned. Railway stations have been discouraged against doing puja to electronic panels etc. during ‘Vijayadasami’ and ‘Durga puja’.

Finally, he has ordered the closure of temples in Railway compounds and is planning their demolition. This anti-Hindu move of Ahmed has caused deep religious resentment and intense anger among the 25 lakh strong railway staff and Hindus at large. I am presenting below the shining symbols of Hinduism and Sanatana Dharma which have been deliberately denigrated by Ahmed!!

Garlanding of trains is banned by Railway minister E Ahmed

Symbols disapproved by Ahmed!!!

While crores are being spent on ‘Haj’ even basic amenities are not being provided to the eight crore plus Sabarimala pilgrims, by the Indian Railways. These Hindu pilgrim are treated as stateless persons by the Ministry of Railways! VHP leader Kummanam Rajasekharan has described this anti-Hindu attitude of this despicable anti-Hindu Union Minister as a threat and challenge to Hinduism. He has rightly charged E Ahmed of communalising a national asset like Railways. He called for immediate restoration of the withdrawn ancient Indian customs and traditions, failing which RSS and VHP will launch nationwide massive agitations. I spoke to a very important VHP leader from Kerala to know more about the blatently anti-Hindu ways of E Ahmed. He said: ‘What more can be expected from Ahmed whose close relative is a jehadi suspect in the Bengaluru blasts and who is hiding in Gulf, thanks to Ahmed and the UPA Government!’

Seeing the conduct and opposition of this Union Minister to the lighting of Kuthuvilakku at a public function in Chennai, I am reminded of this savage manner in which the Talibans of Afghanistan destroyed the two 6th century statues of standing Buddhas carved into the side of a cliff in the Bamyan valley in the Hazarajat region of Central Afghanistan.

I am presenting below the photograph of President of India FAKHRUDDIN ALI AHMED lighting a Kuthuvilakku while inaugurating Paraplegic Rehabilitation Centre in 1974.

I am presenting below another picture relating to the lighting of a Kuthuvilakku by Minister for Health & Medical Education, Mian Altaf Ahmad lighting the lamp on 6th Annual Dental Conference on Sunday. Agriculture Minister, Ch Mohammad Ramzan is also seen in the picture.

The Minister for Health & Medical Education, Mian Altaf Ahmad lighting the lamp at 6th Annual Dental Conference. Agriculture Minister, Mohammad Ramzan is also seen in the picture

Finally, I would like to conclude this story by giving a photograph of President Obama lighting a Kuthuvilakku in the United States of America in the august presence of a Hindu Swami in Ochre robes.

Ahmed once spoke about the Bombay blasts of November 2008, he took special care to avoid any reference to the fact that a Jewish Rabbi and his wife were also killed by his beloved Islamic terrorists from Pakistan!!

Pakistani Army ran Muslim extremist training camps, says anti-terrorist expert

The Pakistani Army ran training camps for a Muslim extremist group, at least until recently, with the acceptance of the US Central Intelligence Agency, according to France’s foremost anti-terrorist expert.Jean-Louis Bruguière, who retired in 2007 after 15 years as chief investigating judge for counter-terrorism, reached this conclusion after interrogating a French militant who had been trained by Lashkar-e-Taiba and arrested in Australia in 2003.

In a book in his counter-terrorism years, Mr Bruguière says that Lashkar-e-Taiba, which was set up to fight India over disputed Kashmir territory, had become part of the international Islamic network of al-Qaeda.

Willy Brigitte, the suspect, told Mr Bruguière, that the Pakistani military were running the Lashkar-e-Taiba training camp where he spent 2½ months in 2001-02. Along with two Britons and two Americans, Brigitte was driven in a 4×4 through army roadblocks to the high-altitude camp where more than 2,000 men were being trained by Pakistani regular army officers, he said.

“The links between the Lashkar-e-Taiba and the Pakistani Army are more than close. Brigitte observed this twice,” Mr Bruguière said. “When the camp was resupplied, all the materiel was dropped off by Pakistani army helicopters. And there were regular inspections by the Pakistani Army and the CIA.”

The US agency carried out spot checks to ensure that Pakistan was sticking to an agreement not to train any foreigners at the militant organisation, the judge said. “After 9/11, the Americans put pressure on the Pakistani Government to put more effective controls on the activities of the Islamic organisations linked to al-Qaeda,” he said.

Mr Brigitte, originally from the French West Indies, and other foreign personnel were moved out to another camp when the CIA was due to visit, Mr Bruguière said. The judge said that it was possible that the Americans had been turning a blind eye to the organisation’s training of foreign operatives.

It was not clear whether the Pakistani armed forces and ISI intelligence service were “playing the same game” as the Pakistani Government over Islamic terrorism, said the judge, whose book is titled Some Things that I Wasn’t Able to Say.

Pakistanis appear to be their own worst enemies

An article from Joel Brinkley, a professor of journalism at Stanford University and a former foreign correspondent for the New York Times.

How many ways can Pakistanis shoot themselves in the foot? Let me count them.

Last Tuesday, two suicide bombers, apparently sent by the Taliban, blew themselves up amid gatherings of students at an Islamic university in Islamabad, killing at least six people and injuring many others.

Pakistani Terrorism

Pakistani Terrorism

This was just the latest in a string of fatal bombings that have ripped through Pakistani society in recent days. The Taliban, it seems, have unlimited resources to wreak havoc in Pakistan as well as in Afghanistan. And where do they get their money? Yes, they earn a lot from all of those opium poppies in Afghanistan. But that is not all.

The Taliban in Pakistan also received more than $100 million last year in donations from sympathetic, wealthy people who live in Islamic countries — including Pakistan. In other words, Pakistanis are providing a good portion of the money the Taliban are spending to tear Pakistan apart.

That comes from a recent Central Intelligence Agency analysis. And it’s consistent with all we already know about Pakistan. Weren’t the Taliban close friends and allies of Pakistan before 9/11 — after which the George W. Bush administration forced a divorce? By all accounts the separation was only superficial. In fact, Gen. Stanley McChrystal, the top U.S. commander in Afghanistan, is widely quoted as saying in a leaked internal report that the Taliban in Afghanistan “are reportedly aided by some elements of Pakistan’s ISI.’’

Pakistani bomb blasts

Pakistani bomb blasts

He was referring to Pakistan’s chief intelligence service, the Inter-Services Intelligence agency, and McChrystal’s remark simply codified what most everyone in the region already assumed. During the 1990s, the ISI. wanted to have an ally in Afghanistan to prevent India from extending its influence there. The ISI also set up training camps in Afghanistan, away from prying Pakistani eyes. The alliance continues.

Some people like to place a distinction between the Taliban fighting in Afghanistan and those in Pakistan. But remember: They all came from the same Taliban cabal that ruled Afghanistan until October 2001. They share goals, tactics, fighters and equipment.

The Pakistani Taliban’s stated goal is to overthrow the government in Islamabad. They seized the Swat Valley early this year and were making inroads in Punjab Province, the nation’s most populous, before the Pakistani army arose from its torpor and fought back by lobbing rockets and artillery shells into towns and villages from a safe distance.

Last week, the Pakistani army began an offensive in South Waziristan, a Taliban stronghold. It’s hardly the first over the past eight years or probably the last. The army never seems to finish the job.

Meanwhile, the Barack Obama administration is pushing Congress to approve $7.5 million in aid for Pakistan over the next five years. This is developmental, not military, aid. Well, no one seems to have noticed that over the past few years Pakistan’s corruption problem has grown from serious to endemic. Transparency International, in a special report on Pakistan last month, found that the amount of public funds embezzled has increased fourfold in the past three years — to almost $40 billion so far this year.

Is this a government to which the U.S. should hand over almost $1 billion a year in the next five years? It’s not as if the people of Pakistan couldn’t use the aid. Look at some of the state’s statistics, provided by UNICEF. Ninety of every 1,000 children born there die before they reach age five. Only 37 per cent of children struck with dysentery, a common and often fatal illness in developing countries borne by contaminated food or water, receive treatment. Adult literacy stands at only 55 per cent. Just 18 per cent of the nation’s girls attend secondary school. One reason: Thirty-two per cent of children 14 years or younger are married. The average life expectancy is 65 years.

What is the government doing about these miserable statistics? About 18 per cent of the state’s budget is spent on the military, one per cent on health and two per cent on education.

This is a country that needs assistance. But first it has to help itself, stop shooting itself in the foot. The government must shut down the ISI and create a new intelligence agency that is responsive to the needs of the country, not its own interests.

It must pass credible anti-corruption measures. Only by taking steps like these and at last winning the support and faith of the nation can it persuade some of its wealthiest people to help the government instead of the Taliban.

We want an Islamic state!!

“We want an Islamic state. If we get that, then we will go to the borders and help fight the Indians.” says Hakimullah Mehsud, the Pakistani Taliban’s new leader.

The Pakistani Taliban’s new leader Hakimullah Mehsud warned India of future attacks and sent a message to Pakistan’s army that if it wanted a halt to attacks, it would have to stop taking orders from the Americans.

Hakeemullah Mehsud

Hakeemullah Mehsud

“We are fighting the Pakistan army, police and the frontier corps, because they are following American orders. If they stop following their orders, we will stop fighting them,” said Mehsud in a video interview aired by British news channel Sky News on Wednesday.

Mehsud also said he would send his soldiers to the Indian border to fight once Pakistan had been turned into an Islamic state.“We want an Islamic state. If we get that, then we will go to the borders and help fight the Indians.”

Haikimullah’s messsage surfaced after Al-Qaeda number two Ayman al-Zawahiri slated the Pakistani army, describing it as a “puppet” and a “Crusader tool” to save United States and NATO troops from certain defeat in Afghanistan.

Al-Zawahiri’s warning was contained in a video posted to Muslim extremist websites on Tuesday. The video warned Pakistan’s military would be defeated in a ground offensive in the militant stronghold of South Waziristan and called on Pakistanis to give full support to Jihad or holy war.

In early October, Mehsud appeared on local television vowing ‘severe’ new attacks to avenge the death of late Taliban chief Baitullah Mehsud, who is believed to have died in a US drone strike in Waziristan on 5-6 August.

Though these kind of incidents and speeched have been cropping up for quite some time, for few years, the present congress led UPA goverment is determined not to hurt the minorities by not taking any action against these people. Its really strange in our country where the terrorists are pampered and considered for clemency when these guys cruelly shot and killed many people in Mumbai attacks.

India fooled again!!

Excerpts from Rediff with my emphasis:

The person who said that talks with India would not work and Jihad is the only way to achieve freedom??Once again Pakistan has proved it is haven for terrorists.Hafiz Sayeed’s JuD and Lashkar-E-Tayiba was declared as terrorist organisation long ago.

Recently Interpol has given red corner notice to him.Even then Pakistan is adamant in its refusal to take any concrete action against him.

Hafiz Saeed

The Lahore High Court on Monday ordered the case against Jamaat-ud-Dawa chief Hafiz Saeed, the alleged mastermind behind the November 26, 2008 Mumbai terror attacks, to be disposed off, saying the country’s anti-terror laws did not apply to him.

Saeed’s lawyer A K Dogar said the case against his client was weak as it lacked credible evidence.

“There is no evidence against Saeed. My client was wrongly accused of terror,” Dogar told a private news television channel.

He added that all notions regarding Saeed’s involvement in terror activities, and particularly in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, were false.

“He (Saeed) would be the last person to carry out a terror attack,” Dogar said.

I am convinced that there is a difference between the type of Islam the Taliban espousing and what the JuD was promoting, he said, adding that those who followed Islam with piety and humility, including the Taliban, would soon see the benefit of joining hands with the JuD and end their terrorist and insurgent ways.

Earlier, Pakistan Interior Minister Rehman Malik had given an indication as to how the matter would proceed when he claimed that there wasn’t enough evidence against Saeed, and that Islamabad would not be dictated to by India in this regard.

In an interview to The Daily Times, Malik had blamed New Delhi for the delay into the 26/11 probe, and said that Pakistan has done enough to bring the perpetrators to justice.

“Whatever we had committed with India, we have done it; in terms of bringing the accused to justice. We arrested the mastermind, it is another thing that they (India) are changing their statements,” Malik said.

“First, the Indians were saying that Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi was the mastermind and then they started pointed fingers at Hafiz Saeed. It is an organised kind of campaign against Pakistan to counter and divert attention from Kashmir and the water issue,” he added.

Pakistan had even rejected the sixth dossier received from India, saying that the contents provided in it were not enough to arrest or prosecute Saeed in a court of law and had asked New Delhi to provide more evidence in connection with the case.
