We have Syndicated the BBC article. BBC is reputed for its correctness of journalism.

Its not against Islam. We understand that Islam means Peace. however some people in Islam are misinterpreting it. the said article by BBC points says that an outdated custom led to loss of lives, and that is a sad part.
